Job Title: Radiology Technologist

We are seeking an experienced Radiology Technologist to join our team at Sigma Healthcare. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, mammography, and radiography.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans, mammography, and radiography, in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including CT scanners, mammography machines, and radiography units, to produce high-quality images.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of imaging protocols, procedures, and equipment to ensure accurate and efficient imaging.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.
  • Perform quality control and quality assurance tasks to ensure imaging equipment is functioning properly and producing high-quality images.
  • Document patient information, imaging results, and other relevant data in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist, with a focus on CT scans, mammography, and radiography.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography, Computed Tomography, and Mammography.
  • Knowledge of radiation physics and protection, as well as anatomy and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
Working Conditions:

This is a 13-week contract position, with a rotational on-call schedule. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced diagnostic imaging environment, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care and accurate imaging results.
