Job Title: Cyber Network Security Engineer

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Network Security Engineer to join our team. As a member of our Pegasus program, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining critical war planning and warfighting capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify, analyze, and resolve network incidents and problems.
  • Determine network specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Knowledge of associated hardware, software, and equipment associated with the program.
  • Analyze, administer, and maintain voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
  • Manage usage and performance of voice, video, and/or data communications networks.
  • Maintain network to meet Enterprise Service Availability and Service Level Agreement requirements.
  • Utilize IT Service Management (ITSM) Principles to identify, categorize, prioritize, escalate, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents.
  • Maintain network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
  • Participate in development and implementation of network-related procedures and standards.
  • Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of reduced performance.
  • Assist with development of third-party monitoring actions and procedures for network infrastructure.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.
  • Provide network/equipment/specialized training and technical guidance.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of related Network Administration experience.
  • Must possess and maintain a SECRET Clearance.
  • BA/BS degree – may substitute additional years of experience.
  • Must possess a completed CCNA certification.
  • Must meet DOD 8750 requirements and be eligible for IAT level II access upon hire for positions with elevated privileges.
  • Knowledge and experience with routing and switching protocols (e.g. OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, Spanning Tree Protocol, VLANs, Port Security, etc.).
  • Knowledge and experience with current Cisco IOS software and hardware features.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while ensuring high quality of work.
  • Experience working directly with hardware vendors involved in incident resolution process.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $88,275 - $102,350, depending on experience and qualifications.
