Key Responsibilities:- Transportation: Drive heavy-duty commercial trucks and operate warehouse and truck-mounted forklifts to transport materials to client locations.
- Logistics: Adhere to DOT regulations, including vehicle inspections and ELD hours of service, to ensure safe and efficient transportation.
- Loading and Unloading: Load materials onto trucks and offload materials at job sites, verifying order accuracy and ensuring timely delivery.
- Safety and Security: Follow safety procedures and policies to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
- Physical Demands: Frequently lift and move materials up to 80 pounds, and utilize logistical software apps, such as Descartes Mobile Link, to optimize delivery routes and schedules.
- Customer Service: Maintain a professional demeanor and provide high-level customer service to clients and colleagues.
- Experience: At least 2+ years of Class A driving experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and customer service.
- Skills: Warehouse and truck-mounted forklift experience, OSHA 10 certification, Hazmat Endorsement, and prior experience in building materials logistics.
- Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, customer service-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Competitive Compensation: A competitive salary range of $28 - $31.30/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
