About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Designer to join our team at Stimmel. As a Civil Designer, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality civil designs for various projects, including single-family and multi-family residential, commercial, healthcare, higher education, and industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce site construction drawings, including site layout, erosion control, grading, storm drainage, stormwater management SCMs, and utility plans.
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality designs and meet project deadlines.
  • Research and apply Municipal, County, and State zoning ordinances and design standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry standards, best practices, and emerging trends in civil design.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and other relevant software.
  • Strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for storm drainage, stormwater management, and water distribution systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to company design and drawing standards.
