Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
  • Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
  • Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for such repairs.
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory.
  • Proficient in B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
  • Strong dexterity with excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
  • A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
  • A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
