- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and in line with dealership standards.
- Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems, including but not limited to engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
- Engage directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required and provide time estimates for such repairs.
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent; ASE Certification is mandatory.
- Proficient in B level qualifications, including Diagnostic, Electrical, and Engine Repair.
- Strong dexterity with excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to utilize electronic diagnostic tools.
- Exceptional customer service skills and basic computer literacy.
- A positive and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to learn and improve.
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies, repair techniques, and specifications.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
