Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required by customers
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Benefits
  • Average $1500 or more per week
  • Average work week hours
  • Miles pay: $0.00 per stop with 12 stops per week
  • Deliver to: OR, WA, ID, and MT
  • Per diem pay: $27.00 per night 2-3 nights per week
  • Loyalty bonus: $1500 - pays $750 at 6 months and $750 at 12 months
  • Paid training
  • Paid time off starts day one - 80 hours accrued in 1st year
  • Comprehensive health benefits start at 30 days
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
