Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler/Forklift Operator to join our team at NW Employment Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload and load flatbed trailers, dry vans, and containers safely and efficiently.
  • Verify counts and identify products to be stocked accurately.
  • Tag and stock materials in the warehouse, maintaining organization and cleanliness standards.
  • Tally lumber and identify products for staging and packaging.
  • Operate a forklift, moving materials throughout the warehouse and re-entering as needed.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Forklift certification is an asset, with prior experience in lumber handling being beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Able to lift heavy items and maintain a physically demanding pace.

Compensation:

The salary for this role is estimated at $21 per hour, based on industry standards and location considerations.
