Role Summary:
We are in search of a skilled and forward-thinking WHS Manager to enhance our team. The Multi-Site WHS Manager will play a pivotal role in delivering WHS support across various locations within the designated region, ensuring adherence to company safety protocols and compliance with all relevant local and regional regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize lean methodologies and continuous improvement strategies to mitigate ergonomic and conditional risks in our operations, thereby ensuring a safe and healthy workplace for our Associates.
- Build trust and rapport with operational teams, driving change through thorough risk assessments and safety data analysis.
- Communicate effectively, delivering clear and consistent messages both verbally and in writing.
- Provide training and guidance to operations leaders on Amazon's safety policies, assisting site teams in implementing these standards.
- Identify and integrate best practices into our safety protocols to enhance the overall safety environment.

Essential Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of local and regional regulations alongside company policies.
- Proven ability to oversee compliance with all applicable Amazon WHS policies.
- Experience in measuring site performance against established WHS requirements and formulating corrective action plans for any deficiencies.
- Strong analytical skills to assess WHS metrics and identify trends in incident reports, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to high-risk areas.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety audits to pinpoint non-compliance issues and implement solutions to mitigate risks.
- Review record-keeping practices to ensure alignment with global safety standards.
- Engage with teams, Associates, and leaders to gather feedback on safety program enhancements, ensuring open communication regarding progress and resolutions.
- Ensure site leadership and Associates are well-versed in their responsibilities under each policy, auditing the quality and effectiveness of safety training.

Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel up to 50-70% of the time, with flexibility regarding shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment with a diverse workforce.
- Advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
- Certification as a Safety Professional is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in using pivot tables and creating charts and graphics.
