Job Summary:
The League of Minnesota Cities is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Deputy City Clerk to provide administrative support services to the City Clerk and City Manager's Office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional support in various administrative tasks, including typing correspondence and forms, filing, data entry, responding to inquiries, maintaining records, and assisting other departments as directed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the City Clerk and City Manager's Office
- Typing correspondence and forms, filing, data entry, and responding to inquiries
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records
- Assist other departments as directed
- Perform a variety of complex, responsible, sensitive, and confidential clerical and administrative duties
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of experience in administrative support or a related field
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
