Job Summary

We have immediate openings for Marine Operations Specialists based out of an MPC Regional office or directly on the towboat. As a critical member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and operational readiness of the towboat and barges, ensuring safe passage, and performing other essential duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and operational readiness of the towboat and barges
  • Ensure safe passage of the boat and barges, including completion of line handling and communication duties
  • Perform other essential duties as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Complete a health questionnaire and pass a physical abilities test
  • Pass a background check and drug test
  • Obtain a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
Preferred Qualifications

Maritime industry experience is strongly preferred, but not required. We are looking for individuals who want to gain a career with our company and are willing to learn and grow with us.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include competitive pay, comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings, and more.
