Housekeeping Associate

We are seeking a dedicated Houseperson to join our team at AWOL Stowe. As a Houseperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and guest satisfaction of our property.

• Sanitize common areas, refresh hallways, and upkeep public spaces to ensure exceptional cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Housekeepers to maintain pristine spaces that exceed guest expectations.
• Restock housekeeping supplies, remove used items, and oversee the cleaning of linens and fabrics.
• Operate commercial laundry equipment, manage linen inventory, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Welcome guests warmly, provide information on room amenities, and assist with inquiries or requests.
• Handle guest requests, special needs, and complaints professionally and courteously.
• Adhere to guidelines for using cleaning chemicals and follow safety regulations diligently.
• Keep storage areas well-supplied and organized, working collaboratively with team members for efficient operations.
• Follow property procedures for handling lost and found items appropriately.
• Uphold a high standard of cleanliness throughout the property to protect its assets.

• Frequent walking, bending, balancing, stooping, reaching, pushing, lifting, manual dexterity, and repetitive motions.
• Manually handle/lift/carry product up to 35 pounds between knee and shoulders.
• Must have bilateral fine manipulation of both hands which may be repetitive for the entire shift.
• Must be vertically mobile working in limited space for the entire shift.
• Frequent stair-climbing.
• Working in extreme temperatures and conditions both indoors and out.
• Schedule varies according to operational needs; may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and split shifts.
• Frequent hand-washing.
• Valid Driver's License is a must.
• Hazards include, but are not limited to, Covid-19, lifting injuries, exposure to unsanitary materials, slips, and tripping.
