Job Title: Substance Use Disorder Counselor

We are seeking a highly skilled Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at Yarmouth Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a Substance Use Disorder Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to patients seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients
  • Plan, oversee, and document patient recovery
  • Co-facilitate group or family sessions as needed
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of patient care, treatment, and incidents
  • Prepare individual treatment plans for each assigned patient
  • Evaluate patient needs and determine if referrals to other programs or facilities are needed
  • Provide crisis intervention and case management duties for patients
  • Act as a liaison between referral sources and patients
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in social or health services field
  • Prior experience and knowledge in addiction recovery and/or MAT environment
  • One of the following licenses/certifications: CAC, CAS, CADAC, CRC, LADC, LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT
