On-call availability for a specified duration
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology services. Perform endoscopic procedures, manage outpatient inquiries, and handle ERCP cases when necessary.
Workload:
1.0 FTE in an inpatient environment
Required Skills:
Proficient in all endoscopic procedures, with a preference for ERCP. Manage 6-15 admissions/patients, including cases of GI bleeding, IBD flare-ups, and liver conditions.
Support Team:
Collaborate with endoscopy personnel and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) for patient rounding as needed. APPs also manage their own clinics.
Certification:
Board Eligible (BE)
Technology:
Familiarity with Epic EMR system is preferred.
