We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Children's National Hospital. As a Staff Outpatient Occupational Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to our pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and treat patients with a range of developmental and physical disabilities, including those with complex medical needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote functional independence and improve quality of life.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate services with other healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote self-advocacy and empowerment.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and evidence-based interventions in occupational therapy, and incorporate these into your practice.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the District of Columbia.
  • Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
