Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to join our team at Scotland Health Care System. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our laboratory section, ensuring timely delivery of quality test results to medical providers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise laboratory staff and ensure efficient and economical operation of the laboratory section
  • Assure timely delivery of quality test results to medical providers
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results
  • Collaborate with laboratory staff to resolve technical issues and improve laboratory processes
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and advancements in medical technology
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Associate's degree in medical technology or a related field
  • 4 years of generalist experience in a hospital laboratory
  • General knowledge and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and instrumentation
  • Proficient in keyboarding and laboratory information systems
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
  • ASCP or equivalent certification preferred
