The Staff Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patient records, conducting comprehensive assessments, formulating treatment strategies, administering therapeutic interventions, tracking patient progress, and meticulously documenting all treatment activities (including discharge planning and patient education) to enhance overall functionality, alleviate discomfort, improve or sustain flexibility and strength, and meet various medical and therapeutic objectives.


Key Responsibilities:
• Communicates patient progress to referring healthcare providers and team members.

• Acts as a clinical mentor for physical therapy students, residents, and fellows in specialized areas.

• Upholds professional licensure through ongoing education and training.

• Conducts physical therapy evaluations, delivers treatment, and oversees the work of physical therapist assistants.

• Creates individualized care plans based on physician referrals and patient evaluations.

• Adapts to various treatment areas as required.

• Engages in team meetings and educational programs.

• Records all services provided and co-signs documentation from assistants.

• Accurately completes billing and statistical records.

• Provides home care instructions to patients and manages appointment scheduling effectively.

• Graduate from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

• Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to deliver exceptional customer service.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Active licensure in the practicing state is mandatory.

CPR certification is required based on AHA standards, including both theoretical and practical components within the initial employment period.

Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Physical Therapist (PT)
