Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Subcontract Management Staff, Level 4 to join our Advanced Development Program (Skunkworks) Procurement team for major systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified Commercial Off The Shelf, performance specification, and complex build-to-print subcontracts for commercial, DOD, and international programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and hold procurement delegation and signs supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
  • Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services for subcontract systems in support of development, production, and global sustainment primes with multiple contract types.
  • Prepare bid packages, develop evaluation criteria, analyze and evaluate proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions including price, select or recommend subcontractors, write subcontract packages, prepare awards, and administer resulting subcontracts and required change activity.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college.
  • Communication, organization, and project management skills.
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in acquisition policies and procedures associated with FAR/DFAR requirements.
  • Experience problem-solving and interacting with leadership and internal/external customers on significant matters.
Desired Skills
  • Leadership skills displaying attributes of Full Spectrum Leadership.
  • Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP).
  • Experience working developmental US DoD contracts.
  • Experience managing critical major suppliers.
  • Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering as they relate to subcontract management.
Security Clearance

This position requires a government security clearance. You must be a US Citizen for consideration.
