We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at DaVita Inc. in Northfield, MN. As a Float Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in various outpatient dialysis clinics in the greater Northfield area, including Rochester, Northfield, Lakeville, Hastings, and Apple Valley.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including taking and monitoring vital signs, initiating and terminating dialysis, and documenting patient treatments.
- Supervise and perform dialysis therapy, including formulating dialysis plans, administering medications, and discontinuing dialysis according to established procedures.
- Analyze patient assessments, laboratory data, and communicate concerns to physicians.
- Assess patient and family learning readiness and provide information on renal disease, prescribed dialysis treatment, and medical regimen.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
- Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) may be beneficial.
- Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certifications may be advantageous.
