Veterinary Technician

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Veterinary Technician at one of our Vetco Total Care full-service hospitals. You'll be responsible for providing top-notch veterinary care, assisting veterinarians with appointments and surgeries, and ensuring the well-being of our patients and clients.

• Provide excellent veterinary care to our patients, including obtaining vital signs, recording medical history, and administering medications under the direction of veterinarians.
• Assist veterinarians with routine and emergency appointments, surgeries, and euthanasia's.
• Schedule appointments, communicate with clients, and maintain accurate records.
• Prepare patients for surgical and dental procedures, safely monitor anesthesia, and provide post-operative care.
• Participate in training new staff members and contribute to a cohesive, well-trained technical team.

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician certification in the state where the hospital is located.
• At least 1 year of experience as a Veterinary Technician or in a veterinary practice.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn new techniques and adapt to changing situations.

• A competitive estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on location and experience.
