Senior Aircraft Component Machinist

Position Overview:

Gulfstream seeks a skilled Senior Aircraft Component Machinist to provide technical guidance and leadership for the repair and overhaul of aircraft assemblies and components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain advanced machining skills for aircraft components.
  • Perform repair and installation of aircraft assemblies according to technical manuals and maintenance data.
  • Set up and operate test equipment for functional and operational tests of aircraft components.
  • Inspect parts to ensure conformity with requirements.
  • Remove and install aircraft components with precision and technical skill.
  • Demonstrate expertise in repair techniques, precision measuring tools, and required paperwork.
  • Comply with environmental health and safety regulations.

Additional Functions:

  • Fabricate and install major and minor repairs to flight controls and other structural components.
  • Repair sheetmetal and mechanical parts using various techniques.
  • Assist with APU maintenance for all aircraft models.
  • Provide technical support and training to other technicians.

Perform other duties as necessary to ensure the highest quality of aircraft component repair and maintenance.
