About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at Sherwin-Williams. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and making recommendations to customers about Sherwin-Williams products.
  • Build trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, features, and benefits to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to visual standards and inventory control procedures.
  • Participate in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and rotating products.
  • Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English.
  • Must be able to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 70 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a delivery, retail, or customer service role.
  • Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products.
