Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Day Porter to join our facilities team at North Cobb Christian School.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000-$55,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities

As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our school facilities. This includes:

  • Lifting and moving heavy objects up to 50 pounds
  • Removing indoor and outdoor trash
  • Setting up and tearing down events and cafeteria equipment
  • Stripping and waxing floors
  • Operating a gas-powered scrubber and pressure washer
  • Driving a cart and pick-up truck
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of custodial experience
  • Physical strength and stamina
  • Cleaning knowledge and experience with cleaning products and tools
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
