Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate travel nurse RN to provide high-quality patient care in Labor and Delivery. As a travel nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients in Labor and Delivery, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Monitor and manage patient vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, and oxygen saturation.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
  • Participate in code blue situations and provide emergency care as needed.
  • Document patient care and progress in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in the state of New Jersey.
  • 2+ years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
  • EFM Intermediate certification.
  • AWHONN or NCC certification.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to float to other units as needed.
