Job Title: CDL Delivery Driver

EquipmentShare is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL Delivery Driver to join our team. As a CDL Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering equipment, products, and materials to customers in a timely and professional manner.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a CDL Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will have a commercial driver's license, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. If you are a team player with a strong work ethic and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate a commercial vehicle in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
  • Assist with loading and unloading goods and materials, using specialized equipment when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including signed invoices and shipping bills of lading.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles, including checking oil, water, gasoline, and air levels.
  • Assist with arranging trailers in shipping yards for optimal loading patterns.
Requirements:
  • Commercial driver's license (CDL) with a valid endorsement for the weight of the vehicle to be operated.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as required by federal and/or state regulations.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical examination.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
