Veterinary Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our team at Southdale Pet Hospital in Edina, Minnesota. As a key member of our veterinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, assisting in surgical procedures, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

• Room patients and assist in surgical procedures
• Place IV catheters, draw blood, and run bloodwork
• Properly handle and restrain animals
• Knowledge of x-ray and positioning
• Understand the importance of client education
• Confidently dispense and administer medication prescribed by the veterinarian
• Be a positive and supportive team member

• Credentialed Veterinary Technician license must be current in the state of Minnesota
• 1+ years of prior veterinary experience
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Confidently and comfortably restrain animals
• Knowledge of surgical prep, monitoring, and recovery
• Compassionate and caring toward our clients and their pets
• Must be able to lift over 50 pounds
• Multi-task efficiently
• Understand the importance of client education
