Responsibilities- Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Monitor patients during catheterization and assist with recovery, providing emotional support and addressing any concerns.
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Observe patients and equipment during procedures, reporting any unusual occurrences and maintaining accurate records.
- Prepare and maintain the procedure room, equipment, and materials, adhering to strict infection control protocols.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure or compact licensure with active FL RN licensure within 90 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire/transfer.
- One to three years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab, ICU, PACU, or Critical Care.
