Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welding Fabricator to join our team at Lincoln Electric. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for laying out, fabricating, assembling, and repairing jigs, fixtures, forms, templates, and related tooling used in manufacturing aerospace tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine blueprints and MBD models to determine the specifications for tooling components
  • Calculate dimensions and lay out designs on various materials to establish reference points and tooling holes
  • Set up and operate machines and shop equipment to cut, shape, and finish materials to specified dimensions
  • Fabricate and assemble tooling components, and measure tooling assemblies for conformance to specifications
  • Join assembly components using bolts, pins, clamps, screws, rivets, or other methods
  • Repair or rework tools as needed
  • Draw sketches and prepare detailed instructions for fabricating or machining to be performed by other workers
  • Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED, certificate in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to work from ladders and scaffolds
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision
