Job Summary

The Packaging Technician I position is responsible for the continuous and trouble-free running of Lidder Machines, Palletizer Machines, or Label Spooler incorporated within the Cup Pack out processing department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and understand daily production schedules
  • Communicate with data clerks and management about necessary materials and machine malfunctions
  • Hand palletize, follow pallet configurations, and monitor the number of pallets
  • Understand basic math and have clear handwriting
  • Diagnose issues within the Palletizer machine, clear out cup jams and breakdowns, and understand how to use the screen to get the machine back up and running
  • Responsible for learning all aspects of the Palletizer Machine, with the ability to teach others key primary adjustments
  • Identify product variation to set up machinery in a timely manner
  • Capable of operating Walkie Stack after proper training and certifications

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
