Cake Decorator: Sweet Creations Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Cake Decorator to join our team at K-VA-T Food Stores Inc. As a Cake Decorator, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and delicious cakes that exceed our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure efficient and courteous customer service at all times, supporting the company's mission to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Maintain a positive attitude, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere through flexibility and teamwork.
• Generate a positive working environment by greeting and interacting with customers, providing prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service.
• Prepare and produce high-quality food and products that meet or exceed our customer and company expectations.
• Decorate specialty cakes, including the use of photo cake computers.
• Decorate cupcakes and cookies.
• Maintain cookie and cake cases.
• Take telephone orders for food and specialty cakes.
• Maintain table cakes.
• Assist in proper rotation and dating of Food Service products.
• Responsible for maintaining product inventory and ordering.
• Keep display cases, workstations, and surrounding areas neat and clean.
• Ensure all special cake orders are ready for delivery to customers at or before the scheduled time.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Food Service experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks, and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis.
• Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies.
