Job Title: CDL Driver

Wisconsin Building Supply is seeking a reliable and skilled CDL driver to join our team. As a CDL driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to job sites, inspecting and maintaining your truck, and reporting any issues to your supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver building materials to job sites in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Inspect and maintain your truck to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Report any issues or shortages to your supervisor.
  • Assist in loading and storing materials.
  • Complete daily equipment pre-inspection.
  • Record all merchandise returned by truck.
  • Follow guidelines established by the Department of Transportation.
  • Log in deliveries on supervisor's log sheet.
Requirements:
  • Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum experience: 6 months CDL experience, including lumber dumping.
  • Basic CDL experience with flat beds and/or tractor trailers required.
  • Ability to do arithmetic, read orders, write instructions, and complete forms.
  • Communicate with customers, other employees, and supervisors using verbal and written skills.
  • Clean driving record, current CDL operator's license, and current DOT Physical demands include stooping, bending, twisting, and throwing.
