Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients with a friendly demeanor.
  • Organize and manage patient intake and appointment scheduling.
  • Accurately input and update patient information in the system.
  • Assist patients in completing necessary paperwork when required.
  • Scan, update, and maintain medical records efficiently.
  • Respond to phone calls and inquiries promptly and courteously.
  • Process medical insurance details, verify patient eligibility, and address any questions regarding insurance, coordinating with the Billing department as needed.
  • Handle cash transactions and co-payments with accuracy and care.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to every patient.
  • Communicate waiting room status and patient inquiries to the site manager or assistant site manager.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Positive, welcoming attitude towards patients and colleagues.
  • Experience in a high-volume service environment (e.g., hospitality, healthcare, retail) is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and a collaborative team player.
  • Proficient in computer usage and possess strong typing skills (approximately 55 wpm).
  • Adaptable to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Passionate about assisting others in a healthcare setting.
  • Able to effectively interact with physicians, patients, and staff.
  • Bilingual skills are preferred based on location.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit and stand for extended periods; significant computer use is required.
