At Acuity International, we strive to provide exceptional medical services to our clients. As a Critical Care Physician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical services to patients in critical care settings, adhering to established standards of care.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Assess patient needs, analyze data, and develop comprehensive care plans in conjunction with medical teams.
- Recognize and treat illnesses and injuries according to established protocols and regulations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to confidentiality and infection control procedures.
- Exercise sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and decision-making abilities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Protect patient privacy and maintain confidentiality in all interactions.
- Perform duties in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to corporate safety policies.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
- Active and unrestricted Physician License, with the ability to be favorably credentialed.
- 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Physician in ICU/ER settings.
- ACLS and BLS certification.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload.
- Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as MS Office products.
- Ability to adapt to sudden changes and flexibility in work requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience as a Chief Medical Officer.
- 3 years of Critical Care experience.
- 3 years of Infectious Disease experience.
- 3 years of Emergency Room experience.
- 3 years of Internist experience.
- Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
Physical Requirements:
- Due to the dynamic nature of global health crises, additional personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines may apply.
- Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods, with potential bending, stooping, and lifting required for patient care and transport.
