Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist I to join our team at UNC Hospitals Rehabilitation Services. As a Physical Therapist I, you will work closely with our experienced team of physical therapists to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patient disabilities and develop evidence-based treatment plans
  • Administer diagnostic tests and evaluations to assess patient mobility and related impairments
  • Teach and supervise graduate Physical Therapy students and/or clinical fellows/residents
  • Develop and contribute to innovative programs to enhance patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to promote continuity of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new clinical programs
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state of North Carolina
  • BLS certification
  • No prior experience required
Preferred Qualifications
  • OCS or Residency graduate
  • Spanish speaking skills
Work Environment

This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position working Monday through Friday. The selected candidate will work at our hospital-based Ambulatory Care Center PT clinic in Chapel Hill.
