Job Title: Microstation Drafter

We are seeking a skilled Microstation Drafter to join our team at ECS Group of Companies. As a Microstation Drafter, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed drawings and designs for various engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and draft site maps, soil boring logs, soils boring location diagrams, and soil boring profiles using Microstation software.
  • Generate design drawings for retaining walls, reinforced slopes, foundation systems, drainage systems, and other engineering drawings.
  • Draft engineering details and figures to support project designs.
  • Assist with plan assembly duties from the direction of engineering staff.
  • Coordinate with multiple design disciplines and team members for design and coordination of major projects and deliverables.
  • Ensure project needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
  • Ensure adherence to established company or client stated MicroStation standards.
  • Transform initial rough designs/sketches and redlines/mark-ups into finished graphics/construction/inspection drawings.
  • Improve communications through documentation.
  • Work closely with project managers, project engineers, designers, and other draft technicians.
Requirements:
  • High School or GED required, technical degree, diploma, certificate or equivalent in related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in MicroStation.
