Accounting Professor

We are seeking a qualified part-time faculty member to teach accounting courses at Allan Hancock College.

The Accounting Program at Allan Hancock College is seeking applications to teach one or both of the following face-to-face courses: Bookkeeping 2 and Payroll Accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing curriculum for these courses, as well as providing academic support to students.

• Teach accounting courses, including Bookkeeping 2 and Payroll Accounting
• Develop and implement curriculum for these courses
• Provide academic support to students, including office hours and tutoring
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of departmental goals and objectives

Applicants should have a Master's degree in Accountancy or Business Administration with an accounting concentration, or a Bachelor's degree in Business with an accounting emphasis or Business Administration with an accounting emphasis or Economics with an accounting emphasis, and a Master's degree in Business, Business Administration, Business Education, Economics, Taxation, Finance, or the equivalent.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary, ranging from $57.72 to $77.18 per hour, depending on education and experience. Additionally, the candidate will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student population and contribute to the development of the Accounting Program at Allan Hancock College.
