Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have a high level of interaction with all functions throughout the organization, including both verbal and written communication. Key responsibilities include:
* Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive risk management program that strives to go beyond regulatory compliance
* Ensuring that IEM follows all applicable federal, state and local regulations, including but not limited to occupational safety and health, waste management, environmental regulatory compliance, workers compensation, chemical control and industrial hygiene
* Contributing to efforts that build a strong safety culture and ensure proactive measures to continuously improve IEM's EHS program

Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in safety, industrial engineering or related field of study preferred. Minimum of five (5-10) years of relevant experience in EHS compliance within a manufacturing environment or other industrial setting is required. Experience leading a team of direct reports is also necessary. Professional EHS certifications including Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Industrial Hygienist (CIH) or other related safety certifications are preferred. A competitive salary range for this position is $80,000-$110,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
