Bonita Springs Utilities is seeking a highly skilled Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective treatment of wastewater at our treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain wastewater treatment plant equipment, including pumps, valves, and processing systems.
  • Monitor and control chemical levels, pH, and other parameters to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and facilities.
  • Collect and analyze water samples to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth plant operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Two or more years of experience in operating a wastewater treatment plant.
  • State of Florida Class C Wastewater Plant Operator's license.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires regular attendance and punctuality. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
