Job Summary

Walmart seeks a highly motivated Research Manager to join our Research Team. This is a career-defining opportunity to make a significant impact in a client-facing environment. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of managing primary research projects and cultivating strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders.

About the Role

The Research Manager will be responsible for serving as the primary point of contact with clients for our proprietary Customer Perception primary research product. This includes understanding business challenges, addressing questions, resolving issues, and serving as a trusted advisor. Key responsibilities include:
  • Demonstrating extensive knowledge of Customer Perception product and services to identify potential opportunities for internal business partners.
  • Serving as a product ambassador to develop new and enhance existing materials for educating business partners on the use and benefits of our product.
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with assigned accounts, helping them with issues, consulting on research needs, and supporting annual research planning.
  • Leading and/or supporting internal and external training programs (e.g., courses, webinars).
  • Proactively identifying product updates that reflect user requests, industry, market, and competitive trends.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of market research experience in a client-facing role.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and phone communication skills, with the ability to adapt conversations for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of SPSS and/or other quantitative reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with online data collection tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Decipher).
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
