Position Title: Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a talented Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is essential in the logistics and supply chain management, ensuring that all necessary resources are acquired efficiently and economically. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional attention to detail, proficient negotiation capabilities, and a comprehensive understanding of the manufacturing sector.

Core Responsibilities:

• Identify, negotiate, and acquire materials essential for production, guaranteeing timely delivery and competitive pricing.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with vendors, addressing any concerns regarding quality, delivery timelines, or pricing discrepancies.
• Work closely with production and inventory teams to oversee stock levels, preventing shortages or excess inventory.
• Pinpoint opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing, effective negotiation, and supplier consolidation.
• Oversee and negotiate supplier agreements, ensuring adherence to all stipulated terms and conditions.
• Coordinate logistics and confirm the quantity and quality of received products.
• Handle invoicing, returns, and pricing for resale purposes.

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• A minimum of 3 years in a purchasing or procurement capacity, ideally within a manufacturing context.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Familiarity with inventory management and order processing systems.
• Understanding of supply chain management principles and industry best practices.
• Capability to analyze data for informed purchasing decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
