Endoscopy Technician

Gastro Health is seeking a skilled Endoscopy Technician to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a key member of our gastroenterology team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
• Investigate and intervene in problem situations, reporting relevant information to the Nurse Manager and maintaining accurate records.
• Evaluate and complete patient assessments to provide supportive care before, during, and after procedures.
• Maintain equipment and supplies, including cleaning and disinfecting endoscopy equipment, operating and troubleshooting patient monitoring equipment, and anticipating inventory needs.
• Perform other duties as required, including participating in quality improvement initiatives and communicating with colleagues.

• A minimum of 1+ years of previous GI experience preferred.
• Associates Degree or medical assisting and/or prior technician experience.
• Commitment to building strong working relationships with other providers and our healthcare team.
• The ideal candidate will be motivated, energetic, and willing to learn.
