Mechanic and Repair Expert Job Description

We're seeking an experienced mechanic and repair expert to join our team at Mavis Tires & Brakes. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest level of service quality while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.


About the Job:

  • This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair a wide variety of automotive systems, including brakes, suspension, and steering.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • ASE certifications in automotive maintenance and light repair, suspension and steering, and brakes.
  • Valid state inspection license.
