Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel OR RNFA for a 13-week assignment in Rochester, NY. As a Registered Nurse First Assist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures.

We are looking for a skilled OR RNFA to join our team in Rochester, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of OR RNFA experience, with a strong background in robotic-assisted surgical procedures.

• Provide direct assistance to surgeons during robotic-assisted surgical procedures
• Ensure proper patient positioning, equipment setup, and surgical field preparation
• Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery, ensuring safety and high standards of care
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals for seamless surgical operations
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with hospital policies and protocols

• Active NY RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of OR RNFA experience, Level 1 trauma experience preferred
• Proficiency with DaVinci robotic surgery required
• Experience in the following robotic surgeries:
  • Robotic Urology
  • Robotic GYN
  • Robotic Colorectal
  • Robotic Surgical Oncology (Whipples, gastrectomies, hernias, etc.)
  • Robotic Thoracic
  • Robotic General Surgery (gall bladders, appendectomies)
• Certifications:
  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS (American Heart Association)
  • CNOR certification
