• Identify and implement strategies for tax optimization and efficiency, both on a domestic and international scale.
• Provide insights on the tax consequences of significant business decisions, including mergers, acquisitions, and restructurings.
• Ensure adherence to tax laws and regulations.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of all necessary tax documents and filings.
• Manage relationships with external tax advisors and supervise tax audits and inquiries.
• Guarantee timely and precise tax reporting in financial statements, including deferred tax assets/liabilities and tax provisions.
• Develop and uphold tax policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor and evaluate changes in tax legislation and their implications for the organization.
• Lead, develop, and mentor team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to provide tax-related advice and support.
• Assess systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy in tax reporting and compliance.
• Drive ongoing enhancements in tax processes and controls.
