Job Description:

At The Peaks Senior Living Community, we are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and comfort of our residents' living spaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Housekeeping Functions
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks and duties as assigned, adhering to established safety protocols and infection control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and attractive environment throughout the facility.
  • Clean, wash, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures, removing water marks as necessary.
  • Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms, recreational areas, bathrooms, and entrance/exit ways.
  • Clean floors, including sweeping, dusting, damp/wet mopping, disinfecting, and vacuuming carpets.
  • Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting, and deodorizing.
  • Remove dirt, dust, grease, film, etc., from surfaces using proper cleaning/disinfecting solutions.
  • Clean hallways, stairways, elevators, and vacant rooms.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Must-Haves:
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Effectively communicate with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and other stakeholders.
  • Work well under pressure, handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Meet physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Estimated Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000 per year, depending on experience.
