Job Summary
Lincoln Electric is a leading provider of advanced arc welding solutions, automated joining, assembly, and cutting systems. We are seeking an experienced Controls Manager to join our team in support of the Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) business.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing AGV Systems and Automation engineering groups with regards to budget, schedule, and manpower requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables meet quality and efficiency standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
* Excellent communications, leadership, and organizational skills
* Minimum 10 years of experience in controls engineering
* Minimum 5 years of leadership experience
* Background in electrical design
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment

What You'll Do
As a Controls Manager, you will be responsible for forecasting manpower requirements, working with resource managers on new staffing requirements, sharing staff, and contracting resources. You will also coordinate with the service department to identify resources for plant activities, provide guidelines for training and assistance to new employees, enforce and improve the ISO Controls Procedure, set goals and measure performance for direct reports, receive project definition, review quoted scope of work, audit project kickoffs, ensure project engineering deliverables comply with controls ISO processes, monitor critical path, update controls engineering status, monitor project budgets and timelines, maintain project design documentation, prepare customer deliverables, participate in Motor City meetings, assist the business unit in closing engineering or staffing issues, and participate in the development of training materials for current and new staff members.
