We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist - CRT to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood. As a CRT, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive respiratory care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide basic and intensive respiratory care, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation, arterial blood gas analysis, and electrocardiograms.
- Initiate and maintain cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other life-support procedures as needed.
- Ensure adequate airway management and assist with intubation.
- Prevent contamination and transfer of infection through proper ventilation and ventilator function.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Associate Degree from an accredited respiratory program.
- Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) certification issued by the Texas Medical Board.
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) certification issued by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- A minimum of 1 year experience in acute care, with new graduates considered.
