Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Internal Medicine/Family Medicine Physician to join our team. This position will be primarily outpatient/office visits. We continue to grow our footprint in Northern New Jersey, partnering with Holy Name Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide primary medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and injuries.
  2. Conduct physical examinations and interpret medical history.
  3. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as blood work and imaging studies.
  4. Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical evidence.
  5. Prescribe medications and monitor patient response to treatment.
  6. Perform minor surgical procedures, such as suturing and wound care.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems (eClinicalWorks).
  9. Adhere to infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.

Qualifications

  1. Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  2. Board certification.
  3. Valid medical license in NJ.
  4. Proficient in a wide range of medical procedures, including gastric lavage, catheterization, psychopharmacology, administering injections, airway management, tube feeding, and dermabrasion.
  5. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
  6. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and their families.
  7. Ability to work well in a team-based healthcare environment.
  8. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
