Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Medical Surgical Unit. The successful candidate will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, utilizing their skills and knowledge to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including vital sign measurements, wound care, and mobility assistance.
  • Assist with patient transfers, admissions, and discharges.
  • Participate in patient education and support the development of individualized care plans.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as charting and reporting.
Requirements
  • Current CNA certification in the state of employment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous CNA experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
