LockNet is seeking a seasoned Director of Procurement to lead our purchasing efforts and drive strategic sourcing initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with our business goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute procurement strategies that ensure alignment with company goals and market trends.
- Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors through negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes and maintain high standards of service.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Oversee the supply chain processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products and services. Identify and address any potential supply chain disruptions or inefficiencies.
- Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs, striving for cost savings and efficiency improvements. Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to stay competitive.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Provide guidance on best practices and professional development.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and internal policies. Manage risks related to procurement and supply chain operations.
- Performance Metrics: Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of procurement activities and vendor performance. Implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as sales, operations, and finance, to support company objectives and address any procurement-related issues.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in purchasing/procurement.
- Minimum of 5 years of People Management experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of MRP experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of negotiation and contract experience.
- P&L responsibility experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Excel).
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to consistently demonstrate leadership skills, decision-making skills, and initiative.
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience.
