About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med-Surg Orthopedic unit at Inteletech Global Inc. in Tallahassee, FL.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Assist with preoperative and postoperative care, including preparing patients for surgery, managing pain, and monitoring for complications.
  • Administer medications, including pain management protocols, and perform wound care, dressing changes, and other post-surgical interventions to promote healing and mobility.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients, documenting vital signs, pain levels, mobility status, and response to treatment, and adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that promote patient recovery and education.
Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a Med-Surg or Orthopedic setting.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required; additional certifications such as Orthopedic Nurse Certified (ONC) are preferred.
